​The Whangamatā Ratepayers Association Inc are hosting a Candidate’s public meeting on Saturday the 17th October 2026 starting at 11 am.

 

To be held at the Memorial Hall Port Road Whangamatā.

The public will have the opportunity to hear candidates from all parties to the forthcoming General Election give their addresses and answer questions in support of the nomination process.

 

This is most important to our Democratic process and the public are invited to submit questions to all, or any individual candidate for consideration by our committee on the day.

 

Questions must be in writing giving the name and contact details of the submitter and are to be submitted by 4 pm on the Friday the 25th September 26 . To be addressed to either;

1.  E-mail to; info@whangamataratepayers.org.nz.   Subject heading “WRA Candidates meeting 26” or;

2.  In an envelope clearly marked. “The WRA Candidates Meeting 26” posted or handed in to the Information Centre 616 Port Road Whangamatā.

 

General questions may be edited by the committee and put to all candidates for their consideration.

 

This is your opportunity to review the General Election candidates presenting themselves for election as the “Coromandel Member” representative to take us into the future period.
